Our funding base continues to grow

We are grateful to have received new funding from Stiftelsen Anna Brita och Bo Castegrens Minne, via Lindhés Advokatbyrå, supporting an exciting new project in the group. This grant will help us investigate how dietary intake can influence stem cells and the development of leukemia. We are delighted to see our funding base continue to grow and deeply appreciate this support for our work.

New publication

We are pleased to share that our new paper, “What we thought we knew about TNF—And what we now must re-learn” has been published in Stem Cell Reports.

In this article, we revisit the role of tumor necrosis factor (TNF) in hematopoiesis and discuss emerging evidence showing that its effects on hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) are not simply suppressive, but depend on cell type, context, and timing. Rather than acting as a uniformly harmful signal, TNF may deplete progenitor populations while transiently reprogramming HSCs without necessarily compromising their long-term regenerative potential.
